OSM Core™ begins at patient registration with appointment lists and a multi-view scheduler. It provides multiple calendar views – in 8-hour-day and 24-hour formats – easy rescheduling and visual cues that alert administrative staff to overbooking.

OSM Core™ also provides visual alerts on the status of patient-related activities including:

  • Collection of co-payments
  • Visit status
  • Encounter data-entry status
  • Call logging and call resolution status

Real-Time Editing
To reduce and even eliminate input errors – which are the cause of nearly two-thirds of all claim denials – OSM Core™ performs real-time, front-end edits, before data is saved to the system. An edit engine alerts users when possible mistakes and/or payor exceptions have been keyed in. ICD9, HCPCS, CPT-4 real-time validity checks are made before change data is saved, dramatically reducing payor rejections.

The system can generate a Superbill (statement) and electronically submit claims.

Proven AR Protocols
The Accounts Receivable process is managed and reconciled by OneSourceMed® experts using consistent and effective collection protocols, which can significantly reduce the aging of invoices. OneSourceMed® executes full accounts receivable collection and posting on client accounts.

Future enhancements to OneSourceMed® include handheld device (PDA) interfaces, the development of a “Patient Portal” with the potential to create dramatic new ways of communicating with patients through the Web, and a “paperless” business environment using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) technology.

OnBase©: Improved Workflow through Data Management
Complementing OSM Core™ is OnBase©, a unique high-speed data management/document archival and retrieval solution that harnesses the power of Local Area Networks (LAN) and the Web to allow the efficient exchange of data.

OnBase© electronically captures, stores and manages literally every document – including paper, reports, application files, e-mails, and Web content – physician practices generate or receive as part of the billing and collections procedure. In a matter of seconds, the search engine enables users to retrieve and review data on a specific document. Onbase© then allows those documents to be revised, annotated, distributed and securely shared via the Web.

The system also promotes accountability and speeds workflow by automatically placing key tasks on the schedules of our staff, where they remain until the task is completed.
